Turning into a nice grocery store. Still under going renovations, but compared to what was there before, it's looking promising. Food is fresh, layout is coming along, great meats and produce. Staff is friendly. Very reasonably priced in my opinion. Nice to have this option close by. Hoping the best for them and look forward to how it looks and operates after renovations are completed.
Fresh market just opened and it's still going through renovations. Whats great about this market is that it offers quality international ingredients and fresh lobster. It's hard to see the seafood area as it's tucked in the back of the market, but its definitely worth the stop. Don't forget to grab a mochi.
5 Start to the market. NO STARS FOR SUSHI. 3 stars total to the owners who allow "Angel sushi bar" into their wonderful store. The sign said "sushi" so I decided to try...to my surprise, every spicy salmon roll had a chunk of unpeeled cucumber in it (it was covered with sause so I didn't see it) Guess what California roll (which is internationally known to have avocado, crabmeat and tiny cucumber sticks) - a large chunck of unpeeled cucumber. The rice was hard - rolls were clearly yesterday's / not freshly made. Im not a person who goes back and returns the product; I just promised myself not to buy sushi there. Friends and Family are warned. Purchased these rolls on 7/10. $15 went to trash. Whoever made those rolls had NO idea how to match the ingredients! If owners read this- please try these rolls, you'll be surprised whats in them. Very Disappointed. PS: I use to get sushi from Sharon farm Market, now weary to buy again.
The prices are outrageous when there is actually anything on the shelves. The town needs to get involved because this is completely rediculous as the leading place to get weekly food in this town. Shameful.
Clearly the best grocery store in Millerton. There are issues but the store is remodeling. Stay tuned.
